"literature is universal " said by my English teacher. Form her, I get a new understanding toward literature. I once thought that literature is so dull and abandoned it under the corner. After my teacher 's lecture, I get to know the real literature that covers history, language, thought,and social trend. Form a book, we can go in and dig out the literature world. The more you read, the better you are!
For example, when we read Hamlet,we can learn about the human weakness–hesitation. When we read Othello, we can learn about the human weakness–jealousy. When we read King Lear,we can learn about the human weakness–vanity. When we read Mecabeth, we can learn about the human weakness –greed. This is why the four tragedies of shakespeare are so popular and profound. Because everyone in different stage, even in different country also has the same human weakness. As a result, we can find our own shadows in those books. This is the real charm of literature.
