Every breath is a wave. You can notice how it has a beginning, a middle and an end. With a soft clear attention, you can allow yourself to be present with the ever changing rhythms of each breath.
You may notice there is a space between the out-breath and next in-breath. This tiny gap when the breath turning around can be a time the attention wanders away, or can be an opportunity to deepen your attention.
Notice the stillness of this gap, rest it and make the stillness as your friend. Feel the movement, follow each in-breath and out-breath as it appeares and disappears, stay with it as you gently sense the rhythm of each breathing.
Relaxed, steady and keep it simple.
Breath arising and moving like a wave.
You are learning the art of mindful attention and concentration, keep returning with the kindness and patience. A few more moments make this waves, let the calm and steadiness grow.
