Ivy and Mom played as mommy and grandma kangaroo when we performedthe scene in the cartoon. We used a caterpillar made by sucker as a big bad bug.Actually, we played the scene three times.
Mom/Ivyacted as Mommy kangaroo at first and then grandma kangaroo.Ivy /Momhold the bug.
Mom:NowMommy kangarooiscooking. Oh, look, a big bad bug is coming. Mommy kangaroo say, I’ll make it goaway.
Ivy:chase the big bad bug.
Mom: Oh, my gosh, it is coming towards me. Mom kangaroojumped onto the sofa.
Mom: Oh, no. Grandma kangaroo is reading newspaper now.She wants to catch it but she can’t. She say, I’ll make it go away. Oh, mygosh, it is coming towards me. Then She jumped onto the table.
Mom:Do you want to be a baby kangaroo?
Ivy: Yes.
Mom: baby kangaroo is coming and she knockat the door.
Ivy:knock, knock, knock.
Mom:who is that?
Ivy:baby kangaroo.
Mom: come in, please.
Ivy (Mom reminded Ivy): What happened?
Mom:look, here is a big bad bug. Can you makeit go away?
Ivy throwed the bug far away.
Mom: You catch the big bad bug. Now the bug went away.You are a hero. Thank you for protecting me and grandma kangaroo.
Ivyhugged mom tightly.
