PART 1: Thoughts
Once you have figured out the right question to ask, you are halfway to the right answer.
PART 2: Summary
The traditional paths always focus on knowledge, by contrast, deliberate practice is focusing solely on performance and how to improve it. And, the case of Davis concludes that it has no significant effect on traditional way. More importantly, training should focus on doing rather on knowing-and, in particular, on bringing everyone’s skills closer to the level of the best performers in a given area. Then, applying the lessons of deliberate practice to find ways to develop better mental representations through our training.
