When Dink, Josh and Ruth went to the museum to see mummies, a woman stole the child mummy who died with his parents. Ruth found the child mummy in the girl's rest room, and a woman came out and walk right towards the tomb. So Dink, Josh and Ruth thught the woman is the thief and they followed her because she maybe went back to the tomb to steal something else. There are so no people in the tomb and they got trapped in there, then they found a secret door and sleep in there because they are tired. Suddenly, they heard a noise and woke up. They opened the door a crack and peered out, and they see two thieves are stealing the mummy's treasure!
Soon their parents and officer Fallon and Dr. Tweed (the worker of the museum) came in and rescued them. Dink told officer Fallon about the two thieves and Josh said he remembered he smelled food inside the tomb but he forgot what is it. The next day, Dink and his friends went to the museum to learn about dinosaurs. Dr. Tweed let them make little dinosaurs with clay, when Josh is making his dinosaur, Ruth said his dinosaur is like a potato, then Josh remembered what he smelled that night: french fries! Then Dr. Tweed said they are out of time and he said that the children can take the clay dinosaurs home and finsih it, so he pass out paper boxes to put the clay dinosaurs in.
Then Josh sees a restaurant called Aunt Freda's Fabulous Fries. They went in and eat some French fries, suddenly, they see a woman, she is carrying a tub full of dirty dishes. Ruth ask Aunt Freda she want to learn how to cook French fries, too. So they follow Aunt Freda to the kitchen and Aunt Freda show them how to make her fries, but Ruth was paying no attention to Aunt Freda, she was looking at the woman, near her, there was a back jacket which was hanging on a hook, a big, black bag that can hold lots of things, and a gravel that looked like the gravel in the tomb. When Aunt Freda finished cooking, it was time for the kids to go. Ruth told Josh and Dink what she saw and they went back home and call officer Fallon and he catched the thief, then he ask," where is the gold?"
"Easy!" said Dink, he grinned," the gold is in the child mummy's sarcophagus. One of the thieves said the gold was heavy, so I think the gold is in there."
When they came to the tomb, they see Mr. Tweed snaching gold out of the sarcophagus and putting them in a black bag. So Officer Fallon catch him and take him to jail.
"I'm so happy we solve another mystery." said Dink, he smiled, "what will be the next mystery?"
