Last week, I accompanied my foreign colleague to vaccinate. I talked casually and frequently on the way that make me feel my English is pretty good. However, last night, I had a lesson with my online English teacher, I found that when I was describing a story I hadn't prepared, it's hard to be as fluent as daily talk. Thus, she recommended to do more practices like to - to tell the story, ie describe a book / film / experience...
Actually, I've discussed this method with others before which we all admit it's a good method to improve. Unfortunately, we didn't insist on doing this.
