美国公司逢年过节，发吃的吗？
A long time ago, maybe in my grandma's day and age, the boss would give everyone a Christmas ham. 大概很久以前，可能在我奶奶的年代，老板会发圣诞火腿
Not so much now: 但是现在美国公司一般不发节日食品
I've received Christmas cookies from neighbors or in the office. 我收到过邻居或者同事送的圣诞饼干
Yeah, that's common, but not so much from the company: 这个挺常见的，但是公司不太会发
“发”英语怎么说？
Since we don't really do it in the States, I guess you can just say "give": 在美国没有“发”这种行为，我觉得说“give”就行
在国内的美国公司都会入乡随俗吧。

1. 鸭肉月饼 duck mooncake （不常见，但我们公司楼下有个鸭王烤鸭)
It's my most highly anticipated part of this episode. I get to eat this stuff. 这是我最期待的部分, 我要试吃这些月饼啦
Let's go ahead and try it out. I think I'd like to start with the Sushi Yuebing (Jiangsu style). 我们开始试吧。我想先从苏式月饼开始。
It seems more like a meal.它看起来更像主食。
I'll save the best for last. Because it's like a dessert and it's cold. 我要把最好的留在最后。因为这个看起来最像甜点而且还是冰的。
I went outside a little earlier and I bought a bunch of different mooncakes. 我先前出去买了很多不同的月饼。
And this kind here is supposed to be duck. I think I'll just go ahead. 这个应该是鸭肉的。我开动了

No, you can't break it: 千万不能掰
It's very flaky. If you break it, it will all fall apart. 这个皮特别酥，如果你掰开，整个都会碎
苏式月饼一大特点就是很酥，容易碎，
英语可以这样形容：

It can be messy when you eat it. 吃的时候可能会掉一地，弄得乱七八糟
Spencer点评：
I like the inside a lot. 我很喜欢里面的馅儿
I think the outside is a little dry for me. 外面的皮对我来说有点儿太干了
Filling is good. I like duck, I like meat in general：馅儿很好吃，我喜欢这个鸭肉馅儿，其实只要是肉我都喜欢
I actually find it's quite delicious. 我觉得味道不错哎

2. 鲜肉月饼 pork mooncake

My coworker Nathan said earlier that is his favorite. He is from Shanghai as well. 我的同事Nathan说这是他最喜欢的月饼，他也是上海人。
“鲜”英语怎么说？
英语没有一个特定的形容词，形容“鲜”这个口味，只能说：
flavorful
tasty
umami (这是最近美国吃货流行的词，从日语翻译过来的，“鲜”的意思)

It's very flavorful. 非常好吃。

3. 豆沙月饼 red bean paste mooncake
Red bean: 红豆
Red bean paste: 豆沙
Paste就是泥、蓉，甜月饼基本都是...paste
Spencer点评：
This is good: 很好吃
I like red bean paste buns: 其实我也爱豆沙包子
I need a glass of milk. 不过最好配一杯牛奶
I could totally put peanut butter on it. 最好再加一点花生酱（Spencer有多爱花生酱啊！清明吃青团也配花生酱）。
月饼＋花生酱，Spencer的黑暗料理：

广式月饼 Cantonese mooncake
蛋黄莲蓉

Spencer点评：
It's very representative of Guangdong: 很有广东的代表性
It's sweet and salty. 又甜又咸。
This is much better for a dessert kind of thing. 这个更像是甜品。
The other ones I'd like to eat with a meal. 前面吃的那些我觉得更像是主食。

We don't want to ruin your perfect body with so many calories. Spencer我不能让你吃那么多卡路里，毁了你完美的身材 （不知道的朋友：Spencer是拥有6块腹肌的健身达人)
I'll work out later today and could use the energy. 没关系，我今天会锻炼，可以多补充点能量
最后，吃冰皮月饼 snow skin mooncake
Saved the most dessert-like mooncake for last. 我要把最像甜点的月饼留到最后。
Spencer点评：
Oh My God, this is good! : 天啊，这个好吃
This is amazing! 这个太好吃了
I think we've got a winner. 我觉得冰皮月饼赢了！
It's a new invention. It's a trendier mooncake.这是比较创新的，是比较新潮的月饼。
哪种月饼能在美国大卖？
Spencer觉得冠军是：snow skin mooncake
You could sell a lot of these in the summer time. 在美国，夏季应该会很畅销（Spencer, 但这是中秋月饼......)

Jenny最爱老字号月饼 Old-school mooncake
I'm more old-fashioned/old-school when it comes to mooncakes: 我吃月饼的口味比较传

My favorite is the pork mooncake: 我最喜欢鲜肉月饼
I don't know what they do to the meat inside. But it tastes so good. 我也不知道他们怎么弄的肉馅儿，总之是在太好吃了
Maybe there's a lot of MSG. 可能是加了很多味精

I also reallly love the coconut paste mooncake from an old store: 我还很喜欢上海老字号的一家椰蓉月饼
Five-nuts is good too: 五仁也很好吃啊
Why did so many people make fun of it? 为什么大家前两年都黑五仁呢？
Maybe it tastes too nutty. 可能果仁味太重了
