PART 1: Thoughts
PART 2: Summary
Looking at some evidence(eg. chess, music), the researchers conclude that the abilities measured by IQ tests are less important than the mental representations one has developed through practice. The higher IQ scores just assist kids to learn and develop their skills easier at the beginning. In the long run the best way to improve ourselves is to avoid the self-fulfilling prophecy to recognize the potential in all of us-and work to find ways to develop it.
