Good evening,ladies and gentlemen.

The title of my speech today is"How to learn English well".

Recently, one thing happened in Toast Master Club impressed me a lot. I found more and more guys here learning English eagerly and passionately. Some are learning English on the Internet  by attending courses such as ADA.Some choose to set up English group on wechat and learn English together such as CANDY. Their passion for learning English touched me a lot and inspired me to think: Why to learn English and How to learn it well?

Let’s look at two photos together.

From the first photo,we can see clearly that Jack Ma，the founder of Alibaba, talked with the two guys happily with smiles.

However, Let's look at the second photo.

Pony Ma, the founder of Tecent, talked with the two guysnothing: Even they are very influential guys in the world. On his left side ,Jeff Bezos is the CEO of Amazon, On his right side, Tim Cook is the CEO of Apple

From the two photos, we can see the difference that English bring to Jack and Pony.

If Pony can speak English well, I believe he can talkwith Jeff and Tim happily with smiles too.

However, in China, Not only for Pony, but also for many of us, English is a great obstacle and  bring a lot of inconvenience in our life. So,Ladies and Gentlemen, how can we learn English Well?

From my point of view,there are four elements: Interest, Method, Practice and Speech.

First, Interest.Interest is the best teacher. The very beginning to learn English well is to have interest to it. You can be interested in English because of a lovely song: For example:  I am a big big girl in a big big world or a moving film: For example:If you jump, I jump. Or Mom said:

Life is like a box of chocolates, You never know what you're gonna get

You can be interested in English because of an interesting book such as: "It's none of your business," the young man said rudely. "This is a private conversation!" or because of a  handsome boy like Alex or beautiful girl like Niki.

Second: Method.The importanceof methods for English learning is like the steering wheel for a car, when you have right methods to English learning, you will find it an interesting and happy thing. Here are some methods to do so. You can start English learning by singing a lovely  song such as Big big world, Or watching a moving film such as Titanic or Forrest Gump; You can start English learning by reading a English book such as New Concept English or learning from others such as Alex or Niki.

Third: Practice.Learning English well cannot be done in one day, it needs practice. As we know, Practice makes perfect. If you like songs like big big world then listen to it and practice itas long as you can sing it. If you like film like Titanic or Forrest Gump, watchit and practice it as long as you can say it. If you like English book like New Concept English, learn it and practice it as long  as you can use it. Remember,practice makes perfect.

Fourth: Speech.Some people saythe best way to learn English well is go abroad, but most of us cannot go abroad, then go and give a English speech.Giving a speech is one way of practice. If you can give an English Speech inplaces like Toast Master Club, you will be a very lucky dog. Because in the preparation of speech, you can choose the interesting topic to start and then   write down your ideas about it .Before the speech, you can revise it and practices it again and again. After speech, you can get evaluation and good advices for better improvement.

These are the four elements to learn English well: Interest, Method, Practice and Speech.

So, Ldies and gentlement, it's your time now. As long as you can learn it with great interest and right method, practice it and give speeches as much as you can, you will make it in the end. Imagine that one day, when you are standing with someone like Jeffand Tim, I believe all of you guys can talk with them happily with smiles, just like Jack.
