一次偶然的机会从同事那里得知儿童平衡车运动，于是自娃1岁半便血拼了一辆KOKUA，但买车容易学车难，看着崭新的Balance bike 蒙尘落灰了1年，内心无比焦虑，于是观看骑车视频、动员全家带娃观看比赛，甚至自己骑车给娃看，慢慢的娃开始接受、开始参加培训，但还不算谈上喜爱，于是想起了绘本沟通，便有了今天的Zoom! The story of a boy and his balance bike。
这本书是为专门纪念Axel制作的，由于Axel的意外死亡，他的父母及弟弟为了把Axel对balance bike的热爱和快乐保存下来，便有了Kickstarter的众筹计划 The Axel Project,其中包括这本书。(http://axelproject.com/introducing-ridetime/)
