《小王子》是一部挺具有哲思韵味的童话寓言。
这本书前面很大的幅度在讲述小王子的星球生活：看日出的惬意，打扫星球的规律，与玫瑰相处的美与矛盾。以及他不懂如何与玫瑰美好相处的远离之后，对他在不同星球上遇到的模样不同，骨子里都一样墨守成规，只着眼利益而不知趣味的大人们的叙述。所以一开始，只觉得这本书有点不知所云，而批判意味虽然浓厚但是有点刻意，不禁便觉得略显得枯燥。
让我觉得开始有趣的部分在于故事的后半部分。
关于羁绊
小王子来到地球，与狐狸相遇时，本来彼此并无羁绊，相视而觉得对方与茫茫众生并无区别。但是，经过了"tame"的过程后，两人就由此结下了不解之缘。
To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world.
“如果你想和别人制造羁绊，就得承受流泪的风险”，正如司马光的《西江月》“相见争如不见，有情何似无情”的感叹。人如过客，皆往匆匆，终必散去。又何必承担这伤心的结果。而智者狐狸给出了虽知其凄，仍求其美之缘由。那即是：羁绊予人以情也，情赋众生以美也。
It has done me good, because of the color of the wheat fields. Go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is unique in all the world.
关于人生
后来小王子与主人公困在沙漠，久经饥渴，而几近绝望时，小王子说的：
What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well…
当时看到这句话，在前面所铺垫的恶劣环境的描述的对比下，更显得小王子以一种出世脱俗的眼光来看待这个沙漠。人生之所以美丽,就是因为有我们克服重重艰险的这个过程，还有我们仍然拥有前进的希望。正如狐狸所说的：
And now here is my secret, a very simple secret. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eyes.
当我们看到茫茫无际的沙漠时，我们看到的是漫无边涯的困难。但是用我们的内心去感受它，它却是使得沙漠绿洲变得曼妙而美好的不可缺少的部分。而我们不能仅仅因为这些表面上的苦难，而忽略了我们内心所真正向往而用生命执着追求的东西。像孩子一样拥有自由、纯真的灵魂，充满热情与勇气去探索。经过了这一段苦求，它才能成为对于我们而言，这世上之至美之物。
关于拥有
故事中，商人觉得他拥有星星，国王觉得他统治星星，旅行者觉得他能够通过星星来认路，从这个意义上来说，他们都拥有这星星。然而他们并非真的拥有它们。有时候，我们常以为我们拥有什么，其实我们并不真的拥有什么。比如一个男人，妻子拥有这个丈夫，儿子拥有这个父亲，公司拥有这个员工……又如一笔钱，我们拥有它，但是我们不得不又花掉他以换取更多的东西；而对于那些不想被换取的艺术品，我们拥有他，但是别人看到他，也对它的鉴赏，也算是一时间的拥有它。我们并无什么可以拥有的，唯有淡然，不执于物，不痴于人，方能淡然而以豁达童心居世。
All men have the stars, but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems. For my businessman they were wealth. But all these stars are silent. You – you alone – will have the stars as no one else has them…
关于爱情
小王子与他的玫瑰，象征着一对情侣。小王子悉心照料，而玫瑰习以为然以至厌倦而傲慢，最终导致了小王子的出离。然而无论小王子走的多远，心里念念不忘的不仍他的玫瑰。走遍了世界，才发现，家和玫瑰才是他需要的东西。正如小王子所说：
You are beautiful, but you are empty. One could not die for you. To be sure, an ordinary passer-by would think that my rose looked just like you – the rose that belongs to me. But in herself alone she is more important than all the hundreds of you other roses: because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen; because it is she that I have killed the caterpillars (except the two or three that we saved to become butterflies); because it is she that I have listened to, when she grumbled, or boasted, or even sometimes when she said nothing. Because she is my rose.
因为那些无可替代的过往，因为那无可推卸的责任，因为那心中的不舍背后羁绊的难以两断。只是他们都过于稚嫩，还不懂如何去爱，只能带来的是无尽的伤害。
但愿每一朵玫瑰花，都能珍惜自己的爱情；亦愿小王子，懂得玫瑰花的爱情。
