Development of economy, alone with the extensive use of digital technology, has facilitated the increasing popularity of cell phone among college students even schoolchildren. Many parents buy their children a cell phone which give those working parents a sense of control and security to know their children's locations and conditions.
Although cell phone brings great convenience to the users, they have some oobvious disadvantages. Some students tend to be "self-addicted" even cheating on the phone or sending messages in the class, which will certainly affect their academic achievement. Moreover, they may be facing frightening bill at the end of the month. Worse still, cell phone in school can lead to classroom distractions, text-message cheating and even privacy release.
As college students with the main task of study, we should definitely say no to cell phone in class. Besides, parents' control and teachers' supervision must be exercised in the use of the phone. Only in this way can the students be the master of the class instead of the slaves to cell phones.
