When I was little, I liked talking back when my parents criticized me. They thought it was very impolite, so they forbade me from arguing with them, so I just nod while arguing with them in my thoughts.
So when I entered school, I regarded teachers' words as rules and I never quarrelled with them. I became an obedient girl without thoughts.
When I listend to a debating competition, I was easily convinced by the two parties and never considered my point of view. In my daily life, If other people say something wrong, I never argue with them. If they try to argue with me, I tend to avoid it because I think it's meaningless to argue with other people. Everything is right in different people's point of views.
In university, I joined in English debating club and took part in a lot of debating competitions because I admired people who could speak fluently in front of other people. However, I did a bad job. I tend to be convinced by opponents. I never bothered to attack others' opinions despite the need to defend myself. It took me a lot of time to realize that. I am not a person who likes to quarrel with other people so how can I win at debates?
