The band name is "Beyond". But the soul of the band is the singer-Wong ka kui.

He was born in 1962, and he was an original musician, guitarist and a leader singer of rock band .
When he was young, he got the first guitar which was picked up from the neighbor's house when they moved. Although the guitar only can make a sound, Wong ka kui still insisted in practicing and enjoyed the guitar.
In the meantime, he was also laughed by the other guitarists, but this can't stop his forward paces.
On the contrary, he worked harder and played the guitar. no matter what circumstances. So this becomes the trappings of his life.

Whereafter, he started a band-"Beyond" which means beyond yourself.
In the early stage, they played the music under the road until ka kui said we should make more people hear our voice So they hold a concert by self-playing. The mother of ka kui was in favor in his sons, and helped ka kui make preparations.In order to pay back mother, ka kui write a famous song -"really love you" to praise the great maternal love. Later, he wrote a song for Nelson Mandela, the president of south Africa.
However, Beyond decided to develop in Japen when Beyond was well-known. Because Wong ka kui thought there were no original songs in Hong Kong.
But he was gone forever. Ka kui made an accidental death when he was only 31. And the song "unrestrained and far-ranging" become the last song and the most classic song.

Finally, Wong ka kui leaves forever, I wish he can find the beauty, peace ,dream in paradise. Untill now, once I listen to Beyond' songs , I also feel that ka kui still lives in the music.
