Thereis a saying that goes, living is learning, and learning is living. Actually, weare learning millions of things in our daily life. Nevertheless life is not theequivalent of learning, vice versa. Then, what's the relation between livingand learning? In my opinion, we are learning from living.
It isuniversally acknowledged that learning is not just limited to books but existseverywhere in everyday life. One can say that life is wonderful or life iscomplicated. Nonetheless no one can deny that living in today's society hastaught us a lot.
Onthe one hand, life is a tutor, guiding us to pursue what we want. A person'sliving experience works as a beacon, which can give her a direction. If aperson was good at self-examination, from living experience she would realizeher shortcomings and imperfections. As a result, she will find a solution toavoid making the same mistakes. Thus, it is certain that she could find ways toimprove herself all around.
Here,take my story as an example.
If ithad not been for the working experience in Nanyang school, I would not attendgraduate school in Yunnan now. It was only because the working lives in Nanyangmade me realize that I was not really professional enough for being a competentteacher. Thus, I got to know that the most important thing for me was toacquire more professional knowledge. That is to say, from my working life Ifinally realized that a further study on English and International Trade wasnecessary for me. From this case, we can figure out that everybody learns fromliving. In a word, Life is a tutor, as it is guiding everybody a right way togo.
Onthe other hand, Life is an encyclopedia which shows various aspects of life. Aperson can choose a life style which makes herself feel more comfortable.However, how to listen to a person's inner needs? The answer is that the moreliving experience you have and the more you learn, the more you got to knowwhat you want. As an old saying goes "Live and Learn" . That is tosay, if you don't have enough life experience, it's quite hard for you defineyourself correctly. We all know that if a person is not adept in thinking andsummarizing from life, she will be easily lost the direction in a modernsociety. If a person wants to grow up and become stronger enough to live abetter life, one must spare no efforts to experience life, enjoy life and learnfrom life. There is no denying that only when people lead in real life, theycan take advantage of living experience to learn what they need.
Tosum up, life is a tutor as well as an encyclopedia. When people are keen onlearning from life, everything around us is interesting and meaningful. Theworld has brought us so many beautiful and wonderful things. Through touchingthe world, feeling the world, and loving the world, everybody can get thewisdom of life. Our knowledge will be well enriched, and our horizons will begreatly broadened. Thus, learning from living has great significance in ourlife.
