Camp "Crazy About Science! 2017" came to an end last Friday. The campers had many things to showcase about what they had learned in Science, Robotics, Art, Sports, and American Culture.
疯狂科学营2017已于上周五圆满结束！在为期3周的营会中，孩子们收获颇多。
The students explored the Scientific Method and biomes of the earth. Also, they created their own "fireworks," and designed an impact-reducing holder for a falling egg. The most magical project they did was planting seeds and watching them sprout. Older campers learned about the components of robots and took on the challenge of programming an M-bot.
在主题科学课上，他们了解了什么是科学方法，探索了神奇的科学原理，学习了植物的生长变化，并亲自将种子种下并观察其发芽的过程，还自制雪花，烟花及减震器。值得一提的是，高年级学生在额外的机器人课上研究各个组成的零部件，并学着为机器人编程，让它们走出五花八门的路线。
In Art class, students finger-painted and drew landscapes as they learned about background, middle ground, and foreground. With the knowledge of perspective, color and impressionism, they created their own masterpiece.
艺术课上，孩子们在学习了前景、中景和背景后，用自己的手指，画出美丽的风景。他们运用在课上所学到的关于视角、颜色及印象派的知识，创作出了自己独特的作品。
In Sports, students have been working out and building coordination in preparation for practicing baseball, basketball, and American football. The class also included smaller activities, such as American foursquareball, hula hooping and bowling.
在体育课上，孩子们在老师的带领下，通过棒球、篮球和美式橄榄球球赛加强了身体协调性及团队精神。球赛之外的小活动也是精彩纷呈，包括美国四方球，转呼啦圈，保龄球等。
The last Family Friday featured videos, which highlight camp activities and artwork from the last three weeks.
最后的结营典礼在更新改造后的体育馆内举行，新安装的LED大屏幕迎来了第一批观众！通过播放的视频，学生们向他们的爸爸妈妈们展示了丰富的学习成果。学生们的舞蹈表演也赢得了阵阵掌声。当学生们手拿结营证书站在舞台上，脸上写满了自豪。
At the end of the day, we finished out the camp with a short dance performance, piñatas and water battles.
营会的尾声迎来了孩子们最喜爱的特色糖果游戏“皮纳塔”和打水仗，在一片欢声笑语和大汗淋漓中结束了我们的营会。
