Since Maomao came home with a whole school bag of trash last Friday when his head teacher asked everyone to clean their locker, I hav even dwelling on the daily habits the boys have. The more I think about it, the deepen my frown got.
1. They run around barefoot all the time, even in cold days when the floor gets cold. Most of the time they carelessly put on two different slippers, socks with one leg or both rolled up.
2. They never brush their teeth without my reminding. Not to mention bath their feet and wash their face.
3. They never organize their toys without my order. Most of the time, the living room and both bedroom floors are like trash dump. Kang likes cutting paper, and little pieces of paper spread all over the floor.
This is a common scenario: After cooking and doing the dishes. I feel like sitting down to relax. But seeing the apartment being messed by them makes me irritated, and I thought showing my anger can make them remember to get organized next time. And I was wrong.
These two days, I have been patiently reminding them to organize the books, the toys, the school bag, brush their teeth, wear their shoes, socks, and pants properly. I feel it might work some day in the future if I persist.
Good luck to me.
