通过近四个月的试用，我的认识是：ChatGPT的出现对Junior TW职位会有较大冲击。ChatGPT的回答是基于它现有的知识库，对于逻辑相对简单以及与创新不多的产品，它的回复准确度很高。但对于复杂的，创新度高的产品，它的回复并不准确，这就需要有technical background的人去做人工纠错。所以说，GPT的出现对Senior TW来说，是提高学习效率与写作效率的利器。
Junior TW如何在AI时代立足、生存、扎根，我想提高思辩能力与领域知识是两点关键。充分利用ChatGPT博大精深的老师，借助它的帮助，更加快速地提高自己的核心竞争力。( AI tools won’t replace us, and we’ll be replaced by those who know how to use AI tools!)

With the launch of ChatGPT, the world has been amazed by the potential of artificial intelligence in enhancing human productivity and efficiency, as well as its ability to potentially replace humans in various fields. Thus, many people have concerns about whether AI will take over their jobs.
Fortunately, I am one of those who have had the chance to use this tool. In my experience, GPT has been a valuable assistant in boosting my productivity and improving the quality of my written work. However, I do not believe it is intelligent enough to replace me in writing documents for complex software products.
Having used it for almost three months, I have found that ChatGPT is useful in assisting me with tasks and serving as my editor and grammarian at times. As a non-native English speaker and a technical writer for over a decade, I have been continuously learning to keep up with domain knowledge since I joined this new field two years ago. At times, I have found myself struggling to organize technical user documents due to a lack of related domain knowledge. In such situations, I turn to GPT for assistance, as it can use its knowledge to help me complete the missing parts and structure the article logically. The resulting article may not be completely accurate or suitable for my specific needs, but it always gives me insight into what the missing knowledge is, which I can then research further for more in-depth learning.
When writing an article, it is crucial to step back and try to view it from the reader's perspective to ensure its understandability. However, given how deeply we become immersed in our work, it can be difficult to accomplish this. In these cases, I use GPT as a reader to test whether my writing is understandable to it.
In summary, I believe that if we can learn how to ask GPT better questions, it can serve as a useful tool to help me complete many tasks efficiently, rather than replace my jobs.
