1. The quantity of recruitment

In 2018 examination, there are 544 employers posting 16144 positions, which can meet 28533 people’s demand. Compared with last year, more 1472 people can enter the government agency, setting the record of the National Civil Service Examination.

2. The distribution of the positions

In 2018 examination, the recruitment positions cover the four departments, which are Central Party Organizations, Public Institutions, State Administrative Organizations, Provincial Direct Organizations. Among them, there are ten systems belonging to Public Institutions, in which, the National Taxation Bureau has been the biggest employers with its 9311 recruitment and 17701 employees. The recruitment and employees of the Public Security and Customhouse rank the second and the third respectively.

In 2018 examination, the top five provinces for recruitment and employees are Guangdong, Beijing, Shandong, Sichuan and Hubei.

In 2018 examination, there are 150 positions with no major limitation, accounting for 9.3%　of total positions and increasing by 3.1% over last. These 150 positions are mainly from Railway Station Bureau, Statistical Bureau, Customhouse and Weather Bureau. Although these positions have no limitation in major, the examinee should check whether they have the special requirement in education background, degree and work experience. According to the statistic, these seven majors, which are management major, economic and finance major, accounting major, law major, computer major, language major and journalism major, are most popular in the recruitment. 1. Politic State

    The 2018 examination has less strict politic state requirement for the examinee. 14318 positions have no that limitation, accounting for 88.96%, which is higher than that in last year. There are 924 positions readied for member of Communist Party of China, occupying 5.72%, which is lower over last. The examinee who are non-communitist have more room to choose the positions.

2. Work experience

In 2018 examination, 79% of the positions have no requirement in work experience, which keeps stable in recent three years, providing more choices to the fresh graduate. Additionally, there are also quite a few positions that require only fresh graduate. It can be said that fresh graduate has met a good opportunity.

The trend of National Civil Service Examination

1. Degree

The examination announcement has put forward that the 2018 examination should lower the degree requirement, but the junior college still is the minimum requirement. On the whole, the degree requirement in the examination of this year shows a olive shape. Both the requirements of junior degree and graduate degree decrease, while the demand of the degree of undergraduate is rising.

2. Additional examination

In 2018 examination, 2307 positions ask for additional examination in the written exam, which is increased by 133 over last year. What’s more, in the interview process, the positions need additional examination reach 387. From this situation, we can see that the employers have higher demand in the professional jobs.
