Summary
Mr Page has been my headmaster several years ago. Recently, I have received a letter which informed me that he will be retiring next week. Most of his students, old and new, will be sending him a present to mark the occasion. Students who have contributed to the gift will sign their names in a large album which will be sent to Mr Page's home. We shall all remember him for his patience and understanding and for the kindly encouragement he gave us when we were unwillingly to school. An amount of his former students will be attending Mr Page's farewell dinner next Thursday. The day before his retirement, he will have been teaching for a totally of forty years. Mr Page have decided that after his has retired he will devote himself to gardening, which will be an entirely a new hobby. However, this doesn't matter, because as he has said that one is never too old to learn.
