我特别好奇中文译本怎么把这种情绪表达出来，于是查了一下。有点失望，中文译本里只是一句话“空书架上将落满灰尘”，作者的情绪感完全没有表达出来。

感受：
这个家庭没有旅行，没有度假是有原因。当Lydia还是小孩子的时候，曾经有过一次Gettysburg和Philadelphia之旅，旅行中这个家庭饱受异样的眼神，即使是小孩子的Lydia也能感受那种异样。从次，这个家庭再没有旅行。一个内外交困的家庭。
Nath走了，虽然只是短短的四天，但是对Lydia来说，Nath好象再也不会回来了。电话那头的，遥远的Nath仿佛变成了一个陌生人。Nath为什么不打电话回来，Nath太想脱离家庭，切断过去，自由得生活。他认为只要Lydia有一天上了大学，一样可以逃离父母，逃离家庭的束缚，开启全新的生活。
Nath丢给Lydia一句" Go take your problems to Jack"。在Nath即将回家的那天下午，Lydia打算跟Jack摊牌，表露心迹，却得到了意外的答案。哈哈，Jack才真是爱上了一个不该爱的人。
Jack的人生态度蛮好的，At least I know who I am. What I want. 知道自己是什么人，知道自己想要什么，不需要别人告诉他做什么，不是提线木偶。Jack的话让Lydia整晚在不停地想，自己的人生到底哪里出了错？
半夜两点钟，Lydia一个身坐在码头边，不再有小时候的那种恐惧。Jack是对的，一直以来她的内心都是恐惧，害怕妈妈突然有一天又要离开，害怕爸爸心碎，害怕家庭再一次崩塌。自从妈妈的那次离家出走，整个家庭仿佛被推到了悬崖边缘，随时有坠落的危险。为了不让妈妈再一次离开，她做一切让妈妈开心的事情，自己变了那个困在琥珀中的飞虫。现在Lydia想明白了，这一次她许下新的诺言：她要重新开始，她要做她喜欢的事情，她要向一切释怀，不再害怕孤单。
在湖心的小船上，Lydia平静而自信，满怀信心期待着明天，她要自己游向岸边。
