Acomedymakes theaudiencelaugh with funny stories and jokes.William Shakespeare（莎士比亚）wrote a famous comedy called“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”（仲夏夜之梦）.
Atragedymakes the audience cry with lots of fighting and a sad ending.
Shakespeare wrote a lot of tragedies, includingRomeo and Juliet（罗密欧与朱丽叶）.
The most famous place to see plays in the USA is calledBroadway, in New York City.In the UK, people go to theWest Endin London.
