What is Jasper White's problem?
Jasper White is one of those rare people who believes in ancient myths. He has just bought a new house in the city, but ever since he moved in, he has had trouble with cars and their owners. When he returns home at night, he always finds that someone has parked a car outside his gate. Because of this, he has not been able to get his own car into his garage even once. Jasper has put up 'No parking' signs outside his gate, but these have not had any effect. Now he has put an ugly stone head over the gate. It is one of the ugliest faces I have ever seen. I asked him what it was and he told me that it was Medusa, the Gorgon. Jasper hopes that she will trun cars and their owners to stone. But none of them has been turned to stone yet!

练习感悟：
1、句子中同时出现两个has had 或have had 时，容易卡住，注意稳住节奏。
2、今天起晚了，于是打算快速完成朗读，遂加快了练习语速。刚开始练习还好，等到准备交作业时，发现容易受干扰和走神，一走神就读错或者卡住。我发现当我越想快速完成时，越是容易受打扰、卡顿或者误读。于是本来想早点完成，结果还是用了1小时，1小时其实我每天的正常时间。所以，训练朗读，最好的办法还是要稳住呼吸，平静下来，有节奏地读完。先练习“走好”，再练习“跑”。因为即便这样练习，也还是会出现习惯性误读，例如the ugliest的the 应该读 /ði/. 最后，告诉自己：不急，慢慢来。
