The two letter word that speaks volumes
Hi guys,N-O
It's two letters, and yet, wow... it's hard to say sometimes, right? Because when we say it, we really mean it. Maybe you need to say it more often, but you're afraid of what the other person will think. You're afraid they will think you don't love them. You're afraid they'll abandon you. You're afraid of seeming selfish or unkind. Those of us that have been working on boundaries for a long time know that 'no' doesn't mean a lack of love, we know that 'no' isn't selfish, and we know that with healthy boundaries, 'no' doesn't have to scare anyone away. No is about limits and respect and truthfulness and vulnerability. No is about protection of what's sacred and important and valuable to you.
What I'd like to do is give people some NO courage, and I need your help. What I'd like to ask you this week is to share something about how saying 'No' has helped you in your life and relationships.
If someone came to you and said they knew they had to say 'no' to something, but they were afraid to do so, what advice would you share with that person? What story would you share from your own life?
As always, share your 100-words or less reply with stories@drcloudteam.com
Have an amazing week!
Cheers,
Henry
