Aims
After talking to some fellow colleagues who have more experience than me, it hit hard that I really know very few things about my work, and I really face huge challenges here if I want to survive my job, the biggest challenges here are communication and information about my products.
I am going to cope with this two challenges in following ways:
First, to get a better understanding about company’s products, I decided to start with the products sold in Malaysia, to figure out what services we have here and what products we can sell.
Second, and maybe more important, I need to improve my oral English,and I need to better adapt to the local accent, these are the real challenges here, and I decide to do following things everyday:
[if !supportLists]l [endif]Listening to English program every day, the point is, whatever I have listened, I need to extract the word and sentence I learned, and reiterate the article in my own word.
[if !supportLists]l [endif]I will watch news on The Star daily to know what is happening in Malaysia, and also, I need to reiterate the stories on my own.
[if !supportLists]l [endif]Use the free time to chat with local people as possible as I can.
