这部分读起来着实让人觉得有些不可思议，阿富汗的妇女权利实在太少太少，几乎没有。对于男人而言，妻子更像是一件私人用品，洗衣做饭，繁衍后代。受教育对于他们而言仿佛是有钱人家的奢侈品，一般的普通人家是无法做到的。而且对于当时的社会而言，女人是不允许和外人接触的，愚昧封闭的落后秩序阻止其进步的速度。

Summary
Mariam came to Kabul with Rasheed.When they got their home, Mariam felt a sense of strange. She suddenly missed Nana,missed Mullah Faizullah,then she cried. It made Rasheed cross and then he pushed a handkerchief into her hand and warned her not to cry.
After a few days, Rasheed brought a blue burqa for her which is a long piece of clothing that could cover the head, face, and body, with only a small square to see through. Rasheed said a woman's face is her husband's business only. He also told her disappear when some guests came home. All these things indicate that there are few freedom of women and for my part, that is a backward feudal rule which could drag the whole economy down.
