今天看了一篇The Economist《经济学人》上的一篇文章，关于黑客窃取商业秘密的，文章中有一句如下：
“Earlier this year Microsoft found that a group of hackers, which it called Hafnium, had broken into hundreds of thousands of computer servers around the world that were running the firm’s mail and calendar software.”
里面有一句短语Hundreds of thousands of 这个是翻译成什么呢？成百上千的？不对，成百上千的我们一般说Hundreds of...就可以了。
那hundreds of thousand of 到底是多少呢？其实不难理解 100+1000=100,000。
Hundreds of thousand of...就是几十万...数十万...的意思。
所以上面那句话就翻译成 “今年早些时候，微软公司就发现了一群黑客，他们称这群黑客叫Hafnium， 这群黑客入侵了全世界几十万台电脑的服务器，而这些服务器是公司正在运行的邮件和日历软件”.
