Reading: hennimann, regarding the Moosling in winter, that birds flew to warm places, snakes slept in the hole. We talked about the hibernation. Hibernation is when animals spend the winter in utter seclusion and laziness for an undetermined period of time (usually as long as it is winter). Animals become dormant and go into a very deep slumber over the winter.
Most of the cold-blooded animals went into hibernation in winter. Some animals lived in tropics need not hibernate.
Normally, warm-blooded animals are not hibernating animals, but bear, bat, squirrel, and hedgehog hibernated.
