Too long or too short? We had a short trip last weekend a decade after our graduation. Just in time, one of my classmates had a business trip in Tokyo so we decided to have a short trip to commemorate for the first decade. We started on Saturday morning and ended by Sunday night.
We all enjoyed this two days, one night trip. We spend most of the time reminiscing the past and we still felt warm and interesting even for some simple and stupid things we did in the past. The closeness is still there, we didn't feel awkward given the fact that we haven't seen each other for a long time. Even though we haven't met each other for a decade, still there's no strangeness among us just like good old days. We still may find each other in the crowd. We also imagine our future selves-where will we be in the next decade or whether we will be better and better. The most important moment is now and we all know what we want and and how we can achieve the things via effort.
Also no matter how far we live from each other, we would still be within reach if any of us needs help. We will do our best to help each other because after all, that's what friends are for. Through this get-together, we know each other deeper such as how can we achieve our goals, what kinds of effort we need to give to get the desired result. To be honest, it's kind of stressful for the people who are living an average life but in this way, that means there still a room for improvement. It will help you find ways to exert more effort and to finally achieve your goal. Under these facts and role model, it will make me work even much harder and achieve more. Since I want to be the same with you guys and let's see the result in the next decade. I wish all of us may live the life we always wanted with not so much stress and only enjoy life every day. See you guys in the next decade and I wish you all the best from now on.
