Looking back on my childhood, I worried that I was a little bossy. I guess as a boy, Iwould have thought that I was a leader. And as a girl, I thought I was a little bossy. And I think we need to change that, if we want more women in leadership.
I spent most of my career, including my time at Mckinsey, never acknowledging that I was a woman.
And fast-forward I'm 43 now, fitting in is not helping us. You know women have been 14% at the top jobs in this country for 10 years. No progress. So I really believe that we need a new and much more honest and open dialogue on gender.
